Whatever happened to the American dream of pursuing real happiness? Most people are far from it, and then they go into counseling to heal their problems; but what then?

Life Coaches help people co-create with their higher power to lead their ideal Life. What is more valuable than that? Co-creativity keeps the doctor away! Most of us have been raised to produce but not co-create, a modern form of slavery.  In reality, we each are powerful Creator Beings made in the image of our Creator.  There is no limit to what we can co-create.  We all deserve to do WHAT we LOVE to do WHEN we feel like doing it, and HOW we are compensated for it.  More and more people are waking up to the fact they can live their lives on their terms instead of settling for a mediocre existence. Coaches help people plug into their infinite potential to manifest specific desired outcomes. This usually includes many problems and issues getting resolved along the way. Still, the focus is to help a person live their more significant potential by having a breakthrough in an area of their Life they might have doubted was possible before… like losing 40 pounds, or finding their soul mate.

To become a great coach, you will need to be coached!  Because one’s mind tends to be the most significant obstacle, isolated coaches usually fail because its hardest to see their shadows and weaknesses until it’s too late.

While being coached, others are seeing your blind spots and holding you accountable to living your highest truth. It would be best if you stayed balanced and fulfilled to some level to help others with this. The world’s most successful people are coached into their greatness.  Most of us were not cheered into our greatness as children; thus, the coaching industry today is exploding.

It is based on the notion that each person has all the inner and outer resources to create their ideal Life. But we are usually unconscious of our blocks to success, have not created a winning plan, and when success doesn’t come easily, we tend to lose steam or give up altogether and go back to an unfulfilling “job.”

Rather than allow this to happen, you can have another trained coach rooting for you, helping you stay on task and clear of any emotional blocks that could slow down your progress. According to the 2016 ICF Global Coaching Study, a certified life coach salary range is between $27,019 – $210,933. The average North America salary of a life coach as of 2016 is $61,900. Program Prerequisites 

To qualify for the UMS Life Coaching Certification Program one must:

1. Be a Graduate of the University of Mount Shasta’s Spiritual Psychology Masters Program. Either the Masters degree or Certificate of Completion, COC. will suffice. 
2. Completed the UMS Self Integration Retreat

 It is designed for those graduates who feel ready to choose and commit to serving a particular niche, draw up a 6 figure business plan, and produce a client attraction video.    Some graduates don’t feel ready for this level of commitment and need more time for integration, after completing the masters program,  particularly students who are still in their 20’s.  That said, if you are under 29 and still feel compelled to become a Certified Life Coach, by all means go for it!  There ARE successful young coaches out there, and youtube and Instagram are helping this to happen. You must be committed to learning all you can to become an expert in your niche, and be excellent with delivering abundant educational information to build a following.  If you feel ready to become that focused, we encourage you to go for this program!

Program Syllabus

You are to launch and begin building your unique holistic practice according to the following criteria.  Once your work is completed according to the schedule below and approved, you will be awarded certification in your chosen coaching expertise, ie, certified:  Attract Your Soul Mate Coach, or Career Coach, or Holistic Health Coach,  You will choose the wording of your coaching certification.

The UMS Life Coaching Certification program is built to give you all you need to launch your unique coaching practice successfully. It includes: 

1. Attending a weekly 75 minute live group coaching call with Joa (and possibly Maqua) at a mutually agreeable time for 3 months.  During this call we coach with attracting 3 long term coaching clients, developing your own unique and favorite coaching style, niche, brand, marketing, and sales technique.  Everyone learns from each other’s experiences.  
2. Between each weekly call, you do the homework you decide is best to move forward with your own coaching goals.  You will also be highly encouraged to give and receive practice sessions with other students, and these sessions are centered mainly around building your coaching business – so you are getting double support each week. 
3. Develop a comprehensive business plan including Market Research, Client Attraction Enrollment, and Treatment Strategy to be approved by UMS.  This includes putting in over 20 hours of research into your field. 
4. Give Motivating Conversations with at least 3 people per week to insure the growth of your practice!
5. Create Business cards and develop a website (or social media page).
6. Within a 3 month period, you will coach at least 2 longterm clients. Each client will complete at least 2 months of weekly coaching with you. Each session will last about 60 to 90 minutes.  Your price will be  $100- $300 per month – sliding scale. You will also communicate with them between sessions by email, and text message to remain connected –– as most clients appreciate this. We encourage you to intuitively use a large variety of skills including Fulfillment and Balance Coaching, Accelerated Healing, the UMS Basic Skills, Conscious Breathing, Conscious Language, Inner Bonding, Gestalt, the Happiness Process, and Act of Consciousness. Let each session be something new and adventurous to do, and many of your clients will get hooked on you because they are encountering so much growth! 
7. Have all your clients fill out an evaluation form after every session. At the end of each month, you will  send a copy of all the session evaluations you received that month to UMS by email or the UMS Google Classroom.   
8. At the end of the three months, students meet at the Mount Shasta campus for three days to produce their client attraction video.  Today, its hard to reach many people and attract a steady flow of new clients without having a video.  During this exciting weekend,  students overcome their resistance to coming out and sharing their passionate message in a way that attracts clients. This video can be used on the student’s website, Youtube, Instagram, and other social media sites and in other ways. 

As a Certified UMS Life Coach, you will receive:  

• The confidence of knowing you succeeded with getting your holistic practice fully operating and profitable!

• A “frame worthy” completion certificate to hang on your wall and show your clients. High-Resolution printable PDF.
• Listing with your profile and picture on our UMS website. This means people in various parts of the world who are looking for a coach from our school and of your expertise will be able to find you on our practitioner directory that is now being created at universityofmountshasta.org. 

• Exclusive Marketing Materials  Access to professional marketing materials, webinars and strategies that will grow your business and increase revenues.
• Access to “practitioner only” knowledge, techniques, ongoing training webinars and events.

T U I T I O N 

Tuition is $333 per month for 3 months …. Or $888 if paid in full. 

Tuition includes video production and editing fees.
