We all want  money, right?  In this article, we explore deeper what money really is. This will help us see what we really want.

Simply, money is a way to trade whatever we agree is valuable.

Our money supply increases when other’s agree to trading something of their value for your new product or service, therefore our money supply is always infinite.

Every time you discover something you have is valuable and convince others of its value, you profit, and increase your money supply, and the entire money supply of our nation. The national banks (or federal reserve) has to print more money to circulate the extra profit everyone makes. Everyone’s added profit in one year is called the Gross National Profit.  GNP is a strong indicator of national economic health because profit is the realization and sharing of the value of what we have.

Humanity is waking up to its inherent value. We were programmed to believe we were only valuable when we were working hard. Many suicides have resulted from people losing their ability to work. But now we are realizing our value does not just come from what we do.  Each and every human soul is priceless. You are valuable beyond measure as you are now, not just when you work or create something great.  No soul is more valuable than any another, because we all come from the same Divine Source.  And this source, we are, is loving. Perhaps we can say what makes us inherently valuable is our essence, at the core, is pure love.

Because humanity is now awakening, money is beginning to follow the exchange of our loving.  When we care about ourselves and others, we feel the need to give back for what we have been given. We each have been given a precious life and unique abilities and talents. In our natural state of gratitude, we want to give back. This desire from our hearts to make the world a better place in our own unique way is what makes us wealthy as individuals and as a society.

Money follows whatever you value. If you value an unhealthy addiction, your money and time is wasted on that. If you value being present (recognizing your existence is a gift), your energy and money will collect. Then, you will have more substance to offer others.

Lets now go even deeper with the words from Charles Fillmore, Founder of the Unity Movement about…

The Spiritual Substance of Money

The spiritual substance from which comes all visible wealth is never depleted. It is right with you all the time and responds to your faith in it and your demands on it. It is not affected by our ignorant talk of hard times, though we are affected because our thoughts and words govern our demonstration. The unfailing resource is always ready to give. It has no choice in the matter; it must give, for that is its nature. Pour your living words of faith into the omnipresent substance, and you will be prospered though all the banks in the world close their doors. Turn the great energy of your thinking toward “plenty” ideas, and you will have plenty regardless of what men about you are saying or doing.

There is no scarcity of the air you breathe. There is plenty of air, all you will ever need, but if you close your lungs and refuse to breathe, you will not get it and may suffocate for lack of air. When you recognize the presence of abundance of air and open your lungs to breathe it deeply, you get a larger inspiration. This is exactly what you should do with your mind in regard to substance. There is an all-sufficiency of all things, just as there is an all-sufficiency of air. The only lack is our own lack of appropriation.

From this substance you were created; in it you live and move and have your being; by it you are fed and prospered. The spiritual substance is steadfast and immovable, enduring. It does not fluctuate with market reports. It does not decrease in ‘hard times’ nor increase in ‘good times.’ … It is ever the same, constant, abundant, freely circulating and available. The spiritual substance is a living thing, not an inanimate accumulation of bread that does not satisfy hunger nor water that fails to quench thirst. It is living bread and living water, and when we feed on God’s substance, we shall never hunger and never thirst. The substance is an abiding thing, not a bank deposit that can be withdrawn nor a fortune that can be lost. It is an unfailing principle that is as sure in its workings as the law of mathematics. We can no more be separated from our supply of substance than life can be separated from its source. As God permeates the universe and life permeates every cell of the body so does substance flow freely through us.

This inexhaustible mind substance is available at all times and in all places to those who have learned to lay hold of it in consciousness. The simplest, shortest, and most direct way of doing this was explained when Jesus said, “Whosoever … shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass, he shall have it.” When we know that certain potent ideas exist in the invisible mind expressions, named by science both “ether” and “space” and that we have been provided with the mind to lay hold of them, it is easy to put the law into action through thought and word and deed.

Just as the earth is the universal matrix in which all vegetation develops so this invisible Spirit substance is the universal matrix in which ideas of prosperity germinate and grow and bring forth according to our faith and trust. If we are to go forward spiritually, we must not waste our thought stuff in idle thoughts, in thinking thoughts of poverty, discontent, jealousy. We should positively weed out of consciousness all thoughts of poverty and failure, and in thinking or speaking of our affairs we should use the very highest and best language at our command.

Whatever the seed word is that is implanted in omnipresent Spirit substance, this seed word will germinate and grow and bring forth fruit “after its kind.” Just as the farmer therefore selects the very best seed corn for planting, so we must choose the words that will bring forth the rich harvest of plenty.

To gain control of Spirit substance we grasp it with our mind; that is, lay hold of the idea back of it. Right thinking is necessary in using the mind constructively to bring about right results.

In laying hold of substance in the mind and bringing it into manifestation, we play a most important part. We do it according to our decree. “Thou shalt decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee.” We are always decreeing, sometimes consciously, often unconsciously, and with every thought and word we are increasing or diminishing the threefold activity of substance. The resulting manifestation conforms to our thought, “As he thinketh within himself, so is he.”
