On Healing Fear

It seems to me, the greatest challenge to humanity today and every day is fear.
No matter where you look in the news, there can be so much to be afraid of, whether you believe in a pandemic or that vaccines are killing more people than they are saving. Then there is our president is seducing us into war with Russia, and the economy about to crash.
How do we deal with it? Should we not question the corporate narrative for fear of being labeled a conspiracy theorist? Or maybe we do question it, but would rather just be silent and hide until it is all over … like lose ourselves in our work, or getting “high” on a substance, or activities like watching movies, sports, video games, porn, and eating sweets. Or, on the other hand, do we run around like “Chicken Little” shouting to everyone, “The sky is falling!” I imagine all of us have coped with our fear in some of these ways at one time or another. But it didn’t resolve it, right?
There is one thing I believe we can all agree on, Fear itself can be very contagious. With so much fear going around, how do we not catch it?
How do we become immune to fear, and thus become a powerful healing presence for others?
Here, I will be sharing with you the most accurate and empowering first response I have heard for this most pressing question.
Last weekend, in our Healing Relationships Masters class, our courageous students were embracing their deepest fears when encountering their most challenging relationships in their life. At the end of the day, I read from an old favorite paperback from our IAMU library. It’s called Emmanuel’s Book. The poetic words were spiritually channeled by Pat Rodegast. The spiritual entity that comes through Pat refuses to identify himself as anything other than the name Emmanuel. According to scripture, Emmanuel is said to be another name for Jesus. These poignant words are so deeply healing, and to me, it’s more than words. It’s an undeniable presence. I feel rapped in a warm blanket of divine love. I feel it is Jesus. I certainly don’t expect you to believe this or have the same experience. Ultimately, it doesn’t matter where the source of this writing comes from. If you feel more free of fear, empowered and uplifted, it will have succeeded in its mission. Here is the excerpt about fear from Emmanual’s Book:
Fear is one of the major cornerstones
of the karmic condition.
It speaks to the distrust of eternal love.
It is disbelief
in yourself.
It is extreme perversion
of truth and light
and love,
Which is precisely what your world
is all about––
the healing of the extreme distortions
of truth and light
and love.
Fear is a fungus
that grows rapidly in dark places
of the consciousness.
It is the most powerful of doors
that closes off the Word
and Light of God.
Fear
Is the dragon at the gate.
It is the denial of Light
and denial of Light
is resistance to God.
It is the falsehood that separate’s you
from God.
What are we really afraid of?
You fear humiliation.
You fear to be wrong.
You fear if your knowing
is brought into your human experience
It will dissolve.
You fear to trust truth.
You fear to love in an imperfect world.
You can alley fear through prayer, through mediation,
Through clear thinking.
Try to accept
your areas of ignorance and reluctance
as the parent accepts the unreasonableness
of the child.
Understand
what this darkness is saying.
By accepting that erroneous thought process
into your own being
You bring it under your roof
and are able to alter it to the Light.
Listen to your fear
with a wise ear.
What are you afraid of in life?
What are you afraid of in yourself?
You must challenge fear
and ask it what it really means to say.
As you go into fear
with eyes open, heart open
and courage flowing freely,
You will see
fear is only an empty room.
Fear is only as strong as your avoidance of it.
The greater your reluctance
to see the fear,
to accept it and embrace it,
the more power you allow it.
Fear is the unknown.
It’s the imagination.
It’s not reality.
There is nothing to fear in the universe.
Even death,
which is a fundamental truth and necessity
in your particular scale of development,
has nothing to fear in it.
Rest yourself
in the reality of God’s eternal
and everlasting Presence
And know
there are plans deeper,
there is consciousness wider,
loving Hearts far more powerful,
than any that walk your earth.
I bless you with the awareness
Of your eternal safety.
It is not a matter of destroying fear.
But knowing its nature
and of seeing it as a less powerful force
than the power of love.
Fear is a trick, a sham,
A slight of hand.
It is an illusion.
The master magicians are heavily at work
in your world.
Demand to see up the sleeve,
behind the back
and underneath the table.
Expose the magician for what he is.
The magician of fear is a humbug.
Fear of the unknown is forgetfulness.
There is no such thing
as the “unknown”
to the soul.
There is a natural fear
and resistance
when one does not recall
one’s own Divinity.
You are safe. You are safe.
You are infinitely safe.
Oh, my dears if I could only make it possible
for you to experience the loving, gentle, kindness
of the universe,
the balance, the fairness,
the sweetness and the joy,
There would never be another moment of fear
In your entire lives.

Have you ever noticed how we have been told some kind of variation of “the sky is going to fall” almost every time we watch the news, and it hasn’t happened yet. I believe this is because enough of humanity has already entered multidimensional consciousness. There is no longer one reality to subscribe to. More and more people are choosing their own reality, not buying into what others are telling them to believe, especially if that belief is fear based.
Love is here. It is in Nature, and is our truest Nature.
This is the good news that is changing the world from the ground up.
I do not expect a top down solution any time soon, maybe never.
It’s us people on the ground awakening to love that is changing everything, and eventually those in power will have to surrender to us, and this is already starting to happen.
