Why I Changed My Name

Let me back up. My first name change occurred in 1988 during what is called my Saturn return when I was 29 years old. The name is JANAKOAYAS. It is my Higher Self name, and as far as I know, will always be my Higher Self name. The name means “Marriage of the Opposites”: Male with Female, Higher Self with Lower Self. This name came through the late Evelyn Jenkins, my first spiritual teacher who introduced me to my spirit guides. That first session I received from her was the most epic healing session of my life because I was in so much pain from separation of my first marriage and being ostracized by my family. To hear my spirit guides speaking to me with such LOVE totally changed me.

Your spirit guides have been walking with you your whole life, and loving you through EVERYTHING. When I let that into my heart, and really get a sense of how much they love me, it makes me want to cry and cry. “I’m that lovable? They put-up with me through everything?” So I was just gushing, listening to my loving spirit guides, who knew me far better than I knew myself, talk to me through Evelyn. And then she channeled my Higher Self name one letter at a time, “J…A… N… A…” this long name, and she said, “You might want to go by JOA as the abbreviation of it.” I instantly loved JOA, so right then and there, I dropped my family name like a rock.

One can say, names are like garments, but much more powerful than clothes. They represent the vibration you choose to identify yourself as – all the time. Saint Germain has said to become free of our past and enlightened, each human must let go of the role they took on to survive their family, and consciously choose to become the role they desire to be. Changing one’s own name that better suits what a person is choosing to be, instead of the one tied to their family, can have a profound life changing effect, as it has for me.

Today, I am not going to erase Janakoayas, but I am retiring it from the public because I am now guided to replace it with another name that represents one of my past lives.

This name was presented to me In the year 2000, when I had another channeling from a renowned seer named Eterna aka the late Linda Bandino. This was 23 years ago. It took me that LONG to integrate what she told me, and I feel like I am finally ready to claim the name – White Eagle. So, my new name is Joa White Eagle. She said in one of my incarnations, I was a Native American called White Eagle, a very enlightened Native American. Here is a colorized photo of White Eagle. Notice the cross on his Tomahawk indicating his appreciation of Christ, for it has been said he was also very significant figure during the time of Yeshua. Anyway, I can say my name change to Joa White Eagle has already created such a shift in my consciousness and life. For example, I have been giving tours here at Mount Shasta for 10 years, but the tour I gave to 10 people two days ago was apparently life changing for a number of the people. I can feel myself more surrendered to a spiritual connection and heart based authenticity I was not ready to anchor at this level before.

I needed to own this possible incarnation and name to connect stronger with my Authentic Self. Apparently, my last incarnation was very heavy, as I have seen pictures of myself fighting in World War II. It has taken much of this lifetime to let go of the PTSD, re-member my wholeness and live in integrity as the teacher I am. What we Star-seed gave to the cause of jumpstarting humanity from the hell of separation during these last thousand years – back to the reality of our Oneness has been huge act of compassion we must now appreciate ourselves for!

I am sharing this renaming of myself as a way of claiming my Authentic Self to encourage you to follow your unique path, which may be quite different than what you thought you should do for your blood family and people in your life who may show up like your blood family. Your life is not the result of your genes or what others believe about you unless you believe this. Your life is the result of your choices. It is a very bold choice to choose yourself, regardless of other’s opinions. Most of your past errors were really not about you, but the stuff of your family, ancestors, and mass consciousness operating through your energy system, and you allowed it because you thought it was yours. It’s not yours. At any moment, you can wake-up and consciously choose your unique path of balance, freedom, and mastery.

The capability of the Authentic Self in everyone (including YOU) is infinite. You can be your Grand Self and live your Grand Life without trying to force or prove anything, but simply surrendering to your divine flow. Living a grand life may mean simply finding balance and being a good human being to yourself and all others that come your way.  To be consistantly loving with yourself and others is to be enlightened, and this is our natural state we can return to anytime. We don’t have to die to be in heaven. We can remember the bliss of our loving now, and this love we all share, conquers all illusions of separation!
