Dear Ones of Mt. Shasta:

Now that we at University of Mount Shasta has a beautiful and functional location in down town Mount Shasta, we are gearing up for a smorgasboard of events starting this Sunday March 1.  Our events will include a large variety of educational programs and musical concerts as our space holds up to 50 people.

If you are local to our area, there will be many ways for you to get involved, especially if you are a holistic practitioner or new world educator, so I hope you will remain connected with us. One main reason I have a vision for a University for Holistic studies in our town is…  Until we the citizens of Mt. Shasta area stand up strongly for what we are behind that enhances our lifestyle and pristine environment other industry that is inappropriate for our environment and lifestyle will continue to be ushered in by our city and county governments. Look what Ashland has done.  We can do it too!  For example, I plan to start a visa program this fall for foreign students to attend our one year masters program, and this will bring more amazing spiritual oriented people from various countries and increase our area’s prosperity during the cold months.  I invite you to join with our vision of making Mount Shasta a international center for holistic and spiritual studies. We are open to other educators offering workshops, retreats, and even degreed programs at our University. Also, you, or anyone can rent our space for a large variety of purposes.  Feel free to contact me to discuss our criteria for this.
